Description

I don't know why, but I just love lighthouses. Usually, there are not many things you could do around them, but somehow they always interest people. However, Smoky Cape lighthouse is attractive for visiting not only by itself but also by a remarkable coastal scenery of the Hat Head National Park you could see from Captain Cook's lookout or the lighthouse area itself. Such a peaceful and pretty place it is! There are several things you could do there. Get an organized lighthouse tour (call and check availability and time in advance), have a coastal walk in the Hat Head National Park, watch birds or even whales or simply enjoy paradise views. There is also BB where you could stay overnight to fully cover this area.
